In "A bucket becomes a house in the hands of craftsman Shuji Nakagawa" (Japan Times, Thu-Huong Ha, 19 Sep 2025) the woodworker comments:
In contemporary art, the subject is ‘I’ — as in the ego, ‘I am.’ But in craft, there is no subject.
... in Toki Pona, perhaps something like:
